Default Brake Problem

What does it mean if you are accerelating at 80 MPH and when u step on the brake, you steering wheel starts to shake really hard? This only happens when i pas the 60MPH. Is this something i need to get it fix soon, or i can drive it around for another 4-5 years.

4-5 years? lol. Well, I am sure your car is fine, but you might need new brakes, could be warped rotors, or could be a bad wheel bearing. When is the last time your car had its brakes done, and did the rotors get turned/replaced? And you should probably atleast look into the problem. You should be fine to drive around in the mean time.

Means your rotors are warped, replace them and the pads and you'll be set.

warped rotars, that sounds like a serious problem huh? Can you give me an estimate quote on how much it will cost to get it fix?

To get an idea of how much your rotors and pad will cost, go to http://www.autozone.com and do a search for your parts.

Rotors and pads are a very straightfoward task that does not require a lot of mechanical knowledge.

Good luck.

rotors bro, not wheels

on mine..it was the fronts that were warped..but i guess you could do all 4 to be on the safe side.

once you get your rotors resurfaced/buy new rotors and new pads then make sure to get your tires balanced just to be on the safe side.
