I'd toss in ITR internals with a b16 tranny and let her rip

port and polish and and a valve job....and since your user name is skunk2, maybe some stage 2 cams to put good use of those new ports...

you might want to read this too

If you can afford a port and polish and valve job then money isn't an issue

haha so true. but forget the valve job for right now i like the idea of the b16 tranny (not sure what you're running) i had a b20 v with only ctr pistons on a b16 head and made about 200 whp (till i blew the motor and now make 183 whp on my ls vtec).

and if you wanna boost eventually think about sleeving the block when you do the internals. type r internals are pretty good...but i wouldnt go with a type r cam. id go with something a bit more aggressive. but definatly upgrade to type r lma (loss motions assembly), they'll allow a slightly higher lift on your upgraded cams. or so i've been told. because my lmas are old they make a lof of noise so i wanna get mine replaces with either gsr lmas or type rs
