Default Humming Sound from Crankshaft Pulley area

Well I did a Y8 swap in my motor that only had 60k miles on it and every once in a while I'll get a loud humming sound down by the crank shaft pulley. I will admit that the alternator belt will squeal sometimes, and the timing belt seemed to be in good condition. I haven't replaced either one though... Basically the sound is only every once in a while. Its a bone stock Y8 and this noise seems to be getting louder. Seriously i was in my house and could here it outside...

Anyone have any ideals?

first of all i would get that alternator noise fixed and go from there

dose the car feel like it is bogging?

because if it is a humming sounds like it would be belt related have you checked the tension on the timing belt any damage

other then that you have two choices

1. drive it until it breaks
2. pull the engine apart and look for something worn out

Yeah I've checked the T-Belt and didn't see any wear or anything but I'm going to get a new one and install it anyways. Im also just going to ahead and put a new alternator belt on as well. As for the car bogging only in low rpms, anything above 2500 is decent...

But I planned on checking those belts but its 11deg outside and that's some cold **** ..... LOL

Fixed the alternator belt and squeek went away but I'm still getting that humming sound. Its not all the time though! I checked the timing belt and it looks to be in good shape but looks like it might be just a tad loose..

Could that cause it?
