Default im a new guy

wats up ppl im new here on the site and i have a 93 eg civic i jus picked up and im wonderin does anyone have any ideas for basic mods i can do for more hp and its a dx by the way i already have intake and a shortshifter and some custom piping but i need other ideas cuz in about a month were goin to the track and i dont wanna be completly slow so thats about it thank u

and your gonna be slow in your dx with boltons.

You should buy my z6 head, and make a mini me. that will bump your power up more than any bolt on.

start from bottom up bro, build your suspension first. start with a nice set of 15-16 inch rims with good tires. Then upgrade to coilovers/shocks or springs/shocks. Do gsr/si front disk brake upgrade with good pads and a rear disc conversion. All of that should cost you cost you a little more than a $1,200.

i wish more people understood that. thats what i did, and i was happy for like 2 years then i did a swap and had a COMPLETE CAR.

What track? Are you going to do some HPDEs? Drag Racing? What exactly are you going to do?

If you are going to do some HPDEs, leave the car stock and learn to drive it. Then you can slowly add supsension upgrades to decrease total lap times.

As for drag racing, that is another can of worms that I'll pass on.

get a cheap small air-compressor and mount it inside ure car and run the air hose through the fire wall and put it inside ure air intake tube. (but make sure its air tight). i have seen people do this before but only with blue bottles. i dk
