I was doing an oil change the other day and i noticed a line of built up grease in a circular shape about the axle, the second boot in on drivers side. I don't hear any clicking noise or anything going around turns but i do hear one good click, say when i am at a stop light and i start to go i hear it but only once. I looked further and notice that the cylinder type case next to the boot is not firm, it is kind of lose and is making the noise i hear. Anyone have any input?

 

mine made this sound a a few days alter i shifted into 2nd hard and it broke the axle.
