Default Fuel pump question.

ok last night the car started up no problems, fuel pump primes and whatever and all of a sudden this afternoon i go to start the car and the fuel pump wont prime and the car wont turn over. im stumped, i even checked all the fuses and such. what could have possibly went wrong over night that would prevent the fuel pump from priming? im wondering if my pump died altogether? also, i forgot to mention that its like 15 degrees outside! so could temperature be an issue? i have no ride to work now so i need this fixed asap!

ok, so i checked the main relay, its clicking so im assuming its getting power, but still no priming of the fuel pump, re-checked all the fuses under the dash and under the hood and none of them are blown. im guessing the fuel pump is no good now. can anyone confirm this?

check at the plug under the seat or cargo box(civic or crx) and see if the pump is getting power. if it is getting power then bang on the tank with a hammer when someone is cycling the key. if you can hear it come on when you bang it, the pump is toast, or there was water in your tank and your pump is frozen up solid

well after taking down the tank and pump and checking it all out, it turns out that some rust from the tank fell off inside and got cought up in my pump wich in return seized it up so now ive got a new pump, tank and filter

just putting that out there in case someone is having similar problems.
