like i said i just got a h22 and i have it at the shop.. i plan on dropping it in around a month and half...
want to boost it and i dont really know what all i need.. not want.. NEED to make about 10-12 psi.. or is that alot.. i want more than a stock amount of boost.. say 8-10???
what all do i need to look for? any brand idea? and what is the avg. price? so i dont get ripped.. thanks soo soo soo much

 

you will need to sleeve the block and get some pistons/rods to boost any higher than 10 psi on a stock h22. i think u can do like 8-10 psi if u have gangsta tuning like with a hondata or some kind of standalone. any higher u run the risk of breaking something.

10-12 psi:
golden eagle sleeves
je pistons
crower/eagle rods
rc injectors
fuel computer ex. (hondata, aem, maybe e-manage)

 

thanks.. but what all do i need for the turbo itself.. i mean i picked up an intercooler.and some piping. i also got a manifold on its way.. whatelse.. and what other smaller goodies too?

 

Oil return line.
OIl feed line.
FMU/inline fuel pump OR hondata/intank fuel pump.
vaccum lines.
wastegate (depends on what turbo you use, some come with interal wastegates)
blow off valve.
couplings for pipes.
boost gauge.
A/F gauge.

This list here are the nice things to also have.
EGT gauge.
boost controller.
turbo timer.
If you go the FMU/inline fuel pump route an afc.

Did I miss anything guys?

i can only afford to pick up one thing at a time.. unless i am lucky and see ppl selling stuff i can use. but i didnt know what to look for.. lol

 

my only suggestion is to buy a kit...

piecing a kit is a headaches...trustme, I have done it once, and doing it again now for the second time...

I remember all parts needed even to the bolts by heart, but ttrying to find those one by one is a headache on its own...

buy a kit, save the trouble and be done with it, or pay me, I'll piece you a kit

 

ok and i ll pay you as i get the money ok lol
only if its going to be cheaper than a full kit.. some are like 2000 wow

 

if you don't mind a few use parts that dont wear out like manifold or DP or IC, you can get it for a lot less.....

but remember this, when it comes to fuel or WG or things in that sort of nature, always get a new parts....
for example, a bad manifold will not affect your engine, a bad wastegate that stuck = boost spike, blown motor

and i am looking into the normal used BOV.. and intercooler...

 

depending on how my shiets are going, I might be able to get you an IC

lemme ask you this, this going in your accord ? I believe the accord has a funny route on routing the IC piping on the exit side of the IC, unlike integra where the exit and intake on the oppsite sides, the accords I believe, routhe the IC piping coming out of the ic OVER the IC to go to your intake piping...

I may be wrong, but see if you can check and confirm that, if you can I have a spearco Core that you can use and get custom end tanks done for your car..
