RDX's gas mileage as a daily commuter?
Thinking about replacing my CRV with RDX as daily commuter but read all sort of bad gas mileage review in magazine ( Avg. 13.5 mpg ! )
Are they that suck in gas mileage?
I can not believe this kind of mileage belongs with a Honda.

13.5 seems really low. That's the number I usually get with my MDX (and used to get with the Odyssey). They must be going full throttle all the time to get those numbers.

i'm getting about 20 mpg average on it. thats averaging in about 70% city 30 % hwy. On hwy i have gotten a max of 24 mpg. People getting 13 must have a heavy lead foot.
Sticker reads 18-24 if i'm not mistaken... Our Service Loaners usually average about 20mpg city/highway.. Oh and if it makes you feel that much better.. The RDX is the most rigid chassis that Acura makes right now.. I'd say you'd be making a good decision if you wanted to step up from the CR-V.
thats one thing ive noticed w/ honda is that they over estimate their EPA ratings on mpg for city/hwy. u never get what they advertised.
also noticed that actual mileage is w/o AC. so i think thats where they get their ratings.
RDX is rated at 19/24 which i was hoping to be better but hopefully they will offer a hybrid in the future. the RDX is pretty heavy too.
i wouldnt mind having one tho. they are cool looking.

Honda has nothing to do with those ratings, they come straight from the EPA.
