tranny problem
i had a race going the other day. vs a prelude. i have a 95 civic with 94 gsr with ls tranny. this is my problem. i had him and i was ready to shift into 2nt gear. exept it wouldnt go in. so bascically i missed. at 8.5 rpm i cant go into gear. what do you guys suggest. just get more muscle? or replace tranny.
Was it grinding when u tried to put it in gear? Probly should rebleed ur clutch and make sure u got plenty of clutch fluid in the reservoir, I had a problem like this a while back up at the drag every time I tried to shift it would grind up high because I was low on clutch fluid and the clutch wasn't disengaging all the way.
because i got a b16 motor with a ls tranny with the car. than i traded the b16 with a gsr. i have no money to do anything. so i just hooked everything up. plus ls tranny longer gears good for forced induction which im going soon son!!

ohh dam expensive stuff im thinking about here. haha. i pretty much dont care if its b16, gsr, or ls tranny. as long as it wont grind any gears and it fits my civic. hydro clutch.
yah i got my gsr tranny from autosalvage yard for 500 and its perfect. you might need to replace your synchros if you can find another tranny with good ones id switch em out. thats cheap if you know what your doing..
yo im driving a b16 with an LS tranny,the car drives really nice but it takes so long to make power..stage 2 clucth with stock b16 flywheel I/H/E..Soon to be Ls/Vtec
