Alright, so here's what happened......

my buddy got some springs off of ebay. the guy said that they would fit his 05 civic. we got home and the springs look completely different, they look as if they would fit my ek.

so in short, they are half the diameter and twice the height. anyone know what the expletive is going on??? can provide pics if needed.

If in doubt... call the manufacturer of the springs... but I pretty much promise you... if they are THAT much different... I would return them and either A. get my money back, or B. get them exhanged.

what brand springs are they? get the part # and google it.

If u bought no name springs, then u deserve to get shafted.

 

well they were supposed to be used sprint springs... that i picked up from the guy who sold them.

i could not locate a part number on the springs...... so i called the seller again, and he told me that he took them off a 2001 ex coupe. he also offered to refund the money, but we would like to first know what they belong to

is there a difference in the suspension on a 2001 and a 2005??? Thanks for all the help so far HT!

2001-2003: 14mm hub mount for the McPherson struts up front.
2004-2005: 16mm hub mount.
