B16A2 160 or 170
I have a Civic 92 with B16A2 engine, model EG6, the VTEC word is bigger than the DOHC word.
I would like to know what engine HP I have 160 or 170, some lists of code say B16A2 160 some other say 170 depending on the manufacturing country, well my car is not USDM nor EDM nor JDM, it's JHM, the VIN start with JHM, I heard it's Japanese manufacturing, but still I need to know what engine HP do I have, can anyone help me?

isnt that H22A?! cuz b16a dohc is bigger than vtec

i beileive it has 160. its a usdm motor. japanese motors dont have the last number. if it was a jdm motor it would say b16a, b18c, and so forth. only in the u.s do they have that last number b18c1, b16a3 and so forth.
But I'm not living in US, and I didn't get it from US, I got it from France but it's not also EDM, the VIN starts with JHM and not USDM as I meantioned earlier. I agree that it's not JDM but it was manufactered in Japan, so can it be 170HP, because I saw versions of B16A2 that they say it's 170HP.

Do you think the performance air filter such as the K&N, does give more HP ? if it's not a cold air intake, i.e the same pipe length but the filter changed from the box to an open sports one

Will it give you more horsepower? ONLY if the following two ideas are valid: Your stock air filter is operating a lower efficiency than the K&N filter and / or your stock filter is restricting your engines ability to breath optimally.
