Go with what you like, anything that is bigger and smoother flowing then stock will help.
If you like loud, light & affordable go with BC if not go with SMSP or Hytech. But it really depends on your budget.

Loud/Good Flow - BC Spec III Race $600 - 700 depending on place

Loud/Good Flow/Custom - SMS-Products obd2 compliant 2.5" SS w/ TI Muffler - $635 subject to change on shipping

Never heard or used hytech but i have only heard good things.

The Hytech unit is definitely not loud. I am running one without a cat (John made me a pimp *** custom test pipe ), and I could keep it pretty stock-sounding (didn't have the cat with the stock setup either) under 3k. I would imagine that with a cat, it'll be much quieter than any other system.

But when you open it up...

The T1R is a true 2.5inch catback with no bottlenecks. Great sound but on the loud side. Should work great for a S/C set-up.
