Default jrsc in an ef hatch???

will a jrsc fit in an ef hatch with a gsr swap? by looking at my car i dont think there is room for it to clear the firewall. my reason for asking is that i found a deal on a supercharger for a gsr, and if it will fit i want to buy it. any help would be great.

btw i did a search and could not find an answer thanks

I thought the JRSC was shorter than the stock manifold?

I'd like to know if it can fit as well...I have a b18a and I don't think theres enough room because of the driver side shock tower.....the alternators so close...

It shouldnt be an issue... Call up Jackson Racing and ask. They no longer make that style S/C but they will know for sure. 951-371-1744

i did not read all 5 pages of that link but it apeared to me the guy with the jrsc on a gsr head maybe owns a 92 -93 Judging from his name.
anyway from what i have heard a jrsc will only fit a b16 head in ef swaps. but you can get a b16 head on a gsr, like the type R, if you must have it.
go to http://www.hasport.com
they have a jrsc kit they say fits the type R and b16 swaped ef's. that is with hasport mounts or mounts with the same shape i guess

I put a jrsc on my b16 in my crx.

Fuel filter had to be moved, heater hoses had to be moved, oil cooler had to be messed with, frame rail had to be smashed in more. But other than that and a few other small things it droped right in.

From all the research I've done, it seems that you will have clearance issues with the heater control valve.

The problem is due the GSR throttle body mount (which goes between the supercharger and throttle body) places throttle body down low, as it would be on a stock GSR. The answer is to use the JRSC throttle body mount for an LS kit or ITR kit. This places the throttle body up higher, as it would be on an LS or even ITR.

By "throttle body mount", I'm talking about the air intake manifold between the throttle body and the supercharger.

What do you mean they don't make that style S/C anymore? You can still buy them from supercharger.com. But I have seen the new blowers they are using @ jacksonracing.com if that is what you are talking about.

they made a special kit for a b16 in an ef. it came with a different "S" tube(the tube the tb mounts to) that makes it more of a drop in kit. it has more of a bend so it clears the fuel outlet (so the tps from the tb doesnt smash against it) you can still get this part. but I think its like $300. I just finished my install of the JRSC on my b16 crx. It fit, a little smashing from a hammer and bending the fuel line is needed.
