Default Dash lights

Aren't all the lights, including the CEL and SRS lights, supposed to come on upon start up?

Well, neither of mine are coming on. I knew the car was hit but I think the guy was shady and pulled the connectors for the two lights. I already found one SRS plug that was undone, along with the seatbelt one under the seat. Do I just have to pull the dash to see if he unplugged those?

He could have just unhooked it so the damn beeper wouldn't go off when the door is open. It does it even with the keyout unless u have it unhooked. I did that.

Default removing cluster

there should be two screws going up above the gauges (in the plastic shroud), remove those, then remove the shoud by pulling the top part out first(might have to use a flat head screwdriver), the bottom uses acouple clips/tabs. then there should be 4/6 screws around the gauge cluster just remove those and slide the cluster out. then disconect the plugs. hope this helps.

wops just saw you have a fourth gen sorry.
not sure if this is the way to do it but it's what someone else posted

All you need to remove is the plastic peice above tha gauges. There are like 10 screws holding it in.

After that you have to take out the gauge cluster and to do that you have to take out like 4 screws for the actual speed/rpm cluster.

Then you pull it out and unplug all the plugs.

An SRS connector right behind the center console, one the driver side near the gas pedal, was unhooked as well.
