Default Flat spot after JDM header install...

Just installed my DC JDM header on my '95 GSR with R cams. Car runs good from 0-4400 rpm, at 4400 the car loses major power and it does not pick up again until about 5200 rpm. Had the gears adjusted at -3 exhaust +2 intake for old set-up. Put gears back at zero. Still have dead spot. Had fuel pressure at 54 lbs with hose off regulator, tried 56 lbs and 52 lbs- still has major flat spot right at vtec. A/F meter doesn't read lean or rich at that moment.

Anyone have any idea's besides "hit the dyno"

Thanks

Have you installed the adapter yet. If not wait until you do and then see what happens.

Adapter is in. Why would a free flowing exhaust create a dead spot at vtec engagement? All that was changed was header. Hmmm.

Try advancing the exhaust cam a little bit. Maybe +2 intake and + 1 exhaust. My car liked that. My Skunk2 cams ran best at +5 intake, +2 exhaust.

what is your vtec point?.. if you have a vtec controller, raise the vtec point from 4400...
