I've read that Haynes is not very good, like it needs more pics and sometimes more details.. so i am asking you guys what is the best service manual for 5gen accords (1994-1997)? I know Bentley publishes very good manuals for bimmers, but i dont think they have anything for hondas..

i must be doing something wrong b/c i cant find one online for free........

 

just a warning, since it looks like this is heading that way.... don't post up any links or sites that have free PDF's of the Helm manual, it's against forum policy.

 

Believe me Jimjonez i found one, took a lot of frustration, persistent and patience but i found one, it's on my adobe acrobat reader. Anyway i'd post up the website where i found it but it's no longer in existence. good luck

 

I was wondering what book to get? The service manual supplement? I'm looking for something more in depth than the hayne's manaul because I'm planning an h22 swap soon and wantd to do some more in depth mods. Thanks for the help in advance.

 

^^ in that case you might want to get a Prelude service manual too. I got the digital version of Helms, w/ that all you need is time and tools...trust me.

 

so you would recomend the service manaul supplement right? I probably get the print version of both because I don't have a computer in the garage at the moment so it's easeir to look at a book right now.

 

when your on the Helm website, you want to look in the Shop/Service Information section for the Service Manual of your year car. Only get the supplement manuals if they pertain to your car, but you'll still need the regular Service manuals to go with it.

 

One more question for ya'll. I got the manuals I need but the prelude manual for the 1993 is on print to order and it says it doesn't contain the electrical diagrams from the original version. Will this be a big problem for doing the h22 swap?
