Default 1988 Civic JDM?

Hey this is kinda a dumb question but my mom has like an 88 civic cx, I was wondering how you can tell if they are made inm japan, the ving number starts with a j?

Sure............... just call it a JDM civic and put it on ebay. Unless it's RHD and fresh off the boat, it ain't worth any more than any other civic. I'm guessing since you're in WA it was made in JP then imported through CA.

whats it matter.. its lhd, d-series and the vin says ED. its not jdm

im in canada.. both me and my friends 4 doors have the J first. i always thought they were just made in the states or canada. both are 91

yeah i got a 93 civic hb with a b18b with 300 hp that came stock from the head of japan honda

the company was called " backyard-auto"
