Default Think is civic is worth being a project car

I was on craigslist pittsburgh and came across this little number. I know its rusting a little and has 250,000 miles on it. But do you guys think it would make a good project for $250.

i think you are a tool for posting that in this forum... someone is going to buy it out from under you. for 250$ i'll let it sit in my backyard and pick parts from it as i need for my hatch

once rust is started it can never be stopped, unless you cut the rusting section out weld in new materail, prep it properly, it seems like a decent project nothing some random mismatched colored body parts cant pull of with a new paint job following, new door, carbon fiber hood or oem what ever, fenders, have new 1/4 panels welded in a dent popper and bondo later and new bumper covers, its your money, itll prolly take a good 1500 to get the body decent!

If you are comforable doing your own mechanical and body work, I'd say it's a steal.

250 doesnt seem to bad of a buy..considering u will have to put money and time into consideration. If you dont let mechanical problems bug u because ur in the process of fixing it then go for it. If you are then stay away

I would buy it, $250 is nothing. Go buy it and once you start looking it over, if you decide you dont want it sell it for $500.

as long as it drives down the road... put brakes on it and you can easily get $500 for it

buy it and part it out. if not, its still a good deal if youre planning on doing the work. if youre gonna have all the work professionaly done, itll probably end up costing a lot. and you can get a magnaflow cat for like 50-60 bucks.
