Im going to get a 90 civic sedan MT for free this weekend (all stock)

(body is straight car is in perfect condition) i have about $500 to play around with

What would be the first couple things you would do to it? Just looking for suggestions

 

Save ur cash and I'll give you $300 for the sedan, then you'll have $800 for a better car ;p.

Or I mean, if you really wanna just throw money at a lowely four door.. MPFI swap, then get a cheap 1.6L longblock and save for boost. The 1.6 will feed your needs for now while you save for the bewst :D

 

i would daiyl drive it, and build another car, not to down thesedan, but if it has a great body u say it does, then it will make a great daily for u to build another car and never have to worry about having something ot drive if one breaks...

100% suspension. Nothing beats a ef sedan dumped

spend the 500 on some good tires, and daily drive it..

bushings. hands down the best upgrade for aging chassis. go spherical where possible, poly everywhere else.

 

Use it as a daily.

Spend that 500 on other stuff. If it had to be spent on the car, I'd probbly replace all the speakers and headunit swap to mpfi *if needed* just make it a bit nicer to daily.

Not that sedans are bad platforms heck I like them a bunch, it's just it's a free and great car to putz around in. I think as much fun and modding is i ruined my car modding it.

These are some of the nicest lil things to drive every mod is a comprimse in some way my car is "fast" handles well but it's not what she was stock.

I lived on Fern. Right by the HS.

 

im gonna just slam to the ground and put some decent rims on it

but heres the thing i also have a 90 integra as my daily because it has an A/T
