Default YES I've done a LOT of research but still need help. AT JDM b16a into USDM AT hatch.

To start things off I've have done quite a few swaps myself and this is the first time someone has asked me to do an automatic to automatic swap (I've only done manual to manual). The motor the individual bought was the JDM b16a ( from the EG9 4dr) came with the mounts from the car with axles ECU everything basically.Question is, were those the mounts I should be using or is there a difference from JDM engine bay and USDM engine bay? With those mounts used the alternator rubs the frame which from what i heard is supposed to only happen in the EF models.

Does the swap require either GSR/LS or the 99-00 si mounts? What mount should be used for the tranny since it's automatic? TIA.

From what I understand it's a wiring nightmare. I've only seen one auto Civic swapped with a auto b-series and it had a Integra dash and chassis harness and lots of work. On the mounts, I would think a mix of the stock usdm and jdm mounts should bolt in.

hmm from what i understand the motor and chassis are both obd-1. it started up and runs fine. only the knock sensor and vtec solenoid needed to be wired. just trying to figure out if the mounts used in the jdm chassis would be considered CIVIC or INTEGRA mounts since it's a b16a..

The usdm Civic doesn't have a TCM so even if it starts up, you won't have control of the transmission.
