H22A in a Honda Civic?
Does anyone know where I can find the recipe for this?
I'm also curious in what years and trims you can do this with. I'm looking at like a '92 DX Hatch or perhaps a 91 CR-X, if it can be done.

It has definitely been done in an EG (92+Civic)
A couple of people in this forum have H22 Powered EFs. It's possible, just be prepared to do some searching!

Here's a thread that shows my experience with an H22 swap using Hasport mounts, had hood clearnace issues but the FiberImages SiR style hood cleared the engine:

P.S. I had to part the car & still have several items that could make your swap easier- Shift linkage, Rywire harness, Hasport mounts if you want to go that route etc. Linked to in my sig.

That's my buildthread. Cars not road registered though. Built it for track and hillclimbs etc. Just brought another EF3 though so may end up doing another H22 swap - but keeping it road legal.

Weight issues? My hatch weighs 2370 with a full interior, the spare tire kit and tools, and 3/4 of a tank of gas.

on top of the honda crx/efcivic forum there are 4 posts that you can go in and find what ever you want to put in your crx or bubble.

From what i remember of that SCC article, they said it was a great budget swap due to gobs of torque and near equal length axles (i.e. minimal torque steer (but still some)
I don't think the added weight in the nose is that much of an issue either, just make sure you compensate for it in your spring rates an what not.
