Default Battery Mounting

I was just wondering if the original battery that came with the type R can be mounted sideways....thanx in advance

sideways in the same sport or in a different location. i know some guys that make a custom box to put it in the front fender and the put the fuse box inside to amke the engine bay look cleaner. why would you wnat to move it anyways?

Also, when you say "sideways", do you mean so that the terminal posts are on the side of the battery instead of the top, or so that the posts are still on the top, but the longer dimension lies front to back instead of side to side?

And again, knowing why you're asking would help us give you the information you're looking for.

sorry for the confusion...What i meant was to put it on its side...Reason being is that my buddy wanted it to buy the battery from me. He told me he need it to put on its side for more room for his turbo kit. We know the oddssey battery can be place on its side but is quite expensive for just a battery so we are looking for some cheap way to do it. thanx for all your help...

if the battery is just theissue just relocatedit with some highh grade wires
