i just picked up the hatch with a gsr swap b18c1 p72ecu in it i got it with vtec not engageing the car is at normal opearting temp it revs at 8000rpm know the clip that goes to the vtec soieloind is connected but it doesnt look like a good connection kinda half *** taped and one shitty solder job could that be the problem what the worst and most expensive thing that could happen when vtec doesnt work can some one give me a diagram or something to just re wire it

 

You sure it's not engaging? The VTEC crossover on a C1 isn't as pronounced as a B16 or C5.

 

i used to own a gsr so i know what it feels like and its not engaging im loosing pwer at the high rpms

 

If it's not a good connection to the solenoid, then fix it.

 

im thinkin about getting it re wired so i know its done right but what can be the most costley part i would have to buy if something was broke
