b16 vs poor mans r build question??
so i have another questions about this im sorry... i was wondering what would be a better build if i were to build a b16a2 or a poor mans type r? im not sure if i want to do na or turbo is there a way i can build for both??

if you have the resources, finance, and time, the poor mans type r will be the better engine. and if you're building it from the bottom up, why can't you build it for boost (or N/A). you can do what ever you want, theat's the great thing about piecing a motor together.

thses guys have no clue to WTF they are saying. there is a reason they call it the poor mans type r. because it's for average joe's who can't or won't pay for a itr motor which is highly priced.
and of coarse it makes perfect sense to build a motor at the same time your using your b16 as a daily driver.
think about how much a itr motor is. now think about how much it is to buy the parts you want, then break the motor down and build it up again. it is alot cheaper and easier to start from the bottom up, piecing the motor together (and alot more fun).
