what is better for turbo b18b or b18c1

Default what is better for turbo b18b or b18c1

no matter which one i get i'm gonna built it for turbo, but i wanna know which one is more reliable and which one will get the most hp when i turbo it. what are the pros and cons?

C1 if you're going to go all out. B18B is good for just a daily turbo driven car.

the gsr has vtec and a few more hp. the ls has a lower compression ratio, meaning you can safely boost higher than the b18c1.

I'm going with one or the other for my hatch one day. unless I can find an ls for significantly less I want the gsr just to have vtec. also remember vtec won't matter much when your turbo is spooled but its kinda like hondas calling card...know what I mean?

I think you will have less blow by. Vtecs are known for blow by under boost.
