Default ecu???

what ecu should i get and what exactly is a chipped ecu and stuff??? sorry im way new to this and btw i have a em1 just in case it makes a difference.

If you have a stock EM1, keep the stock P2T. Chipped ECU won't do anything but waste gas

Major mods, not your average I/H/E. Like stated earlier, leave it stock.

All you're pretty much doing is chaging the factory ECU settings, which render useless on a mildly modified vehicle.

Chipping, in the sense of the word that is used hereabouts, suggests that you implant a device in your ECU that allows for a tuner to make changes to the air/fuel and ignition tables. Unless you're turbocharged, supercharged, running nitrous or have a build that incorporates hot, nasty, badass camshafts and pistons, you won't see a terrible gain by chipping and tuning.

You will see a gain, mind you, just nothing mind-blowing.
