if i put it in can i drive it to the tuner or will my motor go Boom !</TD></TR></TABLE>
you put in the motor in without the turbo and break it in all motor. put about 500 miles on it but dont redline it. put your turbo on and then trailer it to the dyno. then dyno your car

5-15hp with I/H/E.
D-series don't respond well to bolt-ons.
With I/H/E you don't need a tune. Turbos on the other hand are COMPLETELY reliant on tune.

i thought you were gonna rebuild for turbo. but if you gonna boost on a 190k motor, good luck. just put the turbol on and go get it tuned. just dont go into high boost
you dont wanna redline and hit 10lbs boost without a tune. then you will see the BOOM. if you drive low rpm you wont hit boost. or just turn your boost down with your manual/electronical boost controller
some one above said that d series dont respond well to bolt ons and they are right. You may want to look into saving for a b series motor to make that 200-250+ power with a turbo with out messing up your car.-Shift
For the 2500-3k you are going to spend on a b16 or 3500-4k you will spend on a b18c you could build your d16 for turbo and still have lots of money to spare. You can pick up a used d16z6 with good mileage for about 500 dollars.

Screw that. Install everything, let it idle for awhile to check for leaks & make sure that the fan comes on, it's not overheating etc. After that, trailer it to the dyno for tuning.
