1. look everywhere harder

2. figure out what kind of lug nuts you have

3. order new key.

lol i work at toyota and actually there are about 20+ different lug nut keys. (lexus shares these as well)

anyways. i think you are gonna have to find that key or figure out what lug nuts you have.

either that or find someone who might be able to take them off without damaging anything

Yeah, no need to weld...

I wonder if a small pipe wrench would grab onto the extended flat spot ahead of the hex threads? Though I agree that it looks like any sufficiently-deep thin-walled socket of the correct size would pop those suckers right off. Doesn't seem like a particularly great set of security lugs.

Maybe this is why that guy asked yesterday about how to install extended lugs? Some false belief that deep thin-walled sockets are hard to find? Crackhead just has to hit a Wal-Mart before stealing your wheels.

alright well the size is 3/4 it is a thin wall. i found a key that fits it but the problem is that the socket will not fit a torque wrench but it fits a standard ratchet or socket wrench. haha so at least i narrowed it down to the size im going to the tire store tommorrow probably. thanks for all the help everyone

I've actually done this when it was known the key was lost on a s2k... we ended up losing 4 number 17's or somethin like that.. but it does work as a last resort..

go buy a tool call a damage nut remover. this tool removes damaged and rounded nuts and bolts. it looks like a regular socket on the outside but the inside has coarse reverse threads. they come in different sizes, so you gonna have to get one that is close to your wheel lugs. you use a regular rachet to turn the nut remover socket in a CCW direction (lefty loosie), the reverse threads will bite into the lug nut, and this will remove the lug nut.......
