Default Power window/lock conversion

Ok i have my own parts car and im swapping the power windows locks. In the FAQ it doesnt reall explain much. It says you need the harness from the door to the ecu. WELL... from the drivers side i got fine, but the passanger side runs into a larger harness that splits and half goes to the engine bay and the other half to the door i believe. I havent checked but will the harness i need have its own connectors to my ecu or will i need that whole harness. Is there a plug just for the passanger side power options?

I don't completely recall but I think you need to remove the tape around the grouping of wires. The ones you need will be able to be seperated easily.

I did this about 4 months ago on my 93 civic dx from a 94 ex coupe. Basically, the way i did it was i took all of the wires that had to do with the passenger door and i pulled them out of the floor harness. If you do it that way, you can just rewrap the wires you pulled and not have to cut or spice anything.

Let me say it again, that huge harness has the wires for a lot of ****, so what you wanna do is unwrap it and pull ALL of the door wires away from that harness so you can put those in your other car.

I also did this conversion on my 95 hatch. You don't need all those wires going into the engine bay. You only need the pass. door wires that will connect to the plug on the other end of the driver underdash wire harness. If you follow the wires and where it goes, you'll see which one is which. Hope this helps.

well i know the inner panels wont, and i doubt they have the same mounting points. Id search for an online Haynes(or equivalent) and see what they say on window removal and you might be able to eye if the parts are even close to fitting.
