Which harness to use on a b20z
I purchased a 99-00 ex harness for my b20z and I need help with wiring. I am using a LS intake manifold, im not sure if its JDM or USDM but let me know if theres a difference. Also I purchased a 95 LS header, OBD1 p75 ecu and a jumper harness OBD2B to OBD1. This set up is going in my 00 Si (I dont have a Si harness). I wanted to know exactly which plugs need to be extended and if necessary is which plugs need to be swapped. I have a b20z harness as well as the flathead intake manifold if that helps

Can someone check this part number for me? I was told it's an 99-00 EX harness for manual transmission car. The part number is 32110-P2R-A00(3). I put the last 3 in parenthesis because the person selling this harness said he's not sure if they use the last 3 for the part number. Sounds weird to me but I whatever

I ended up buying a 99-00 ex harness
but some of the plugs dont reach and to be honest, this harness looks like a headache for a b20z. Do you know which plugs need to be extended? I also have the original b20z harness just incase I need to do some surgery

Can you tell me which color the wires are for the evap purge and the iat? I'm very confused at the moment. I think theres a few more plugs that need to be extended but I cant seem to figure it out. This was so much easier on my 96 ek, I purchased a 96-98 ex harness and used it on my 01 gsr and it worked like a charm.
iat is red/yel
evap is blk/yel
I cant say if you need to extend more than that...I just know thats all I did to mine. My injector wiring was a little on the short/tight side too, but the did reach with a little creative routing through the intake mani runners

you are going to need a 99-00 si harness or a 96-98 ex harness to make it work without changing plugs. if you use your 99-00 ex harness you will have to change the dizzy plug to make it work for the OBD2 dizzy

I just thought...perhaps youre having length difficulties, because youre mixing up the map and tps connectors?
Switching them around would make it short for the iacv...
map wiring: yel/red, grn/wht, blk
tps wiring: grn/blk, yel/blu, blk

the b20z dizzy plug actually fits on the 99-00 ex harness

It doesnt list any other color for 96-98 vs 99-00, in helms.
Youre going to have an extra connector, for knock, too.
On my swap, I want to say I had 3 extra - vtec, knock, crank (but thats because my block is pre 96)

to do this you will need to get the climate control, heater core and motor blower out of a 96-98. this is different then a 99-00. with just the stock wire harness you will be fine but you will need a 0bd2B to 0bd1 jumper. the car is wired correct as is but you will need to extend shorten some of the wires give in the harness. it is easiest to stick with the 99- then to swap and rewire. research the climate control swap to find out if you think it is worth it. as far as the intake mainifold it should be converted to obd2 eventhough you have a jumper cause you still need to deq.
