d15Z1 vtec head

Default d15Z1 vtec head

i picked up a d15z1 head, is this good for a d16y7 block and the d15z1 vtec setup? how much do these heads retail for?

get a Z6 head Z1 doesnt have much Hp boost .. i think... not entirely sure

Y8'll pack more and he won't have re-wire the dizzy nor use different injectors.

Yes, his current motor is OBD-II

to make the OBD-I (Z1) head work you'll have to use OBD-I injectors and cut off an OBD-I dizzy plug and match/solder the ends onto the ends of a cut off dizzy harness plug.

ok that make more sense ... i was thinking he had a D15b7 and wanted to put a z1 head on ... that make alot more sense to put y8 in ..

Not to mention it has slightly higher compression than the Z6 head.
