?? about Ls/B16 Tranny...........
the top pic is from a car with power steering, the power steering fluid runs through it and it is proportions the fluid to have a variable rate power steering system in proportion to speed
The one on the B16 is missing the bracket that holds it down...I'd use the LS one unless you have the bracket for the other one....I fillled the port with PS fluid and then looped a hose from one side to the other, i believe it helps kee it lubricated as well as helping the PS fluid...
Am I in the ******* twilight zone or something or are you guys talking about PS and EFs when clearly OP is talking about Vehicle Speed Sensors and transmissions?

yea he is talking about the speed sensor but everyone was telling him the difference between the 2...one came in cars with PS and the other didn't...the PS lines go from the rack to the Speed sesnor and works kind of as a pump and I thin to help cool the speed sensor...

well not really, the unit sees the vehicle traveling faster and slows the fluid down so it functions like a manual rack. It just lets the fluid through at slow speeds(like when you are stopped or parking the car) and cuts it at high speeds when you dont need it

So should I just plug it up? It only has the one hose on it and then the top where the speed sen goes. I don't want to mess this tranny up, the B16A one is toast............

leave it open, its fine, ps fluid flows through it when the tranny turns, (if its hooked up to your rack)
