Default jdmsh!t -- "spoon style" mirrors...

I've been using the search for the past hour trying to find actual EG owners with spoon style mirrors, but haven't found anything.

There's a LOT of posts, with owners posting they're authentic Spoon mirrors suck for passenger side visability, which makes sense since we're RHD and not LHD.

Are the replica "spoon style" mirrors the same?? Suck on the passenger side?

They've got them for $59 at jdmshit, and I was wondering how these are? Fitament, AND visability. I just bought a CX, and CAN'T STAND driving and not having a right hand side mirror.

Anyone? ?

I had the JDMShit CF spoon-style mirrors. The fitment was great, but after a while the CF lost its crispness. It got cloudy, and I don't think it was the clearcoat since I resprayed clear on it (and was still cloudy).

When I bought my 92 si it came with fake spoon mirrors. They have a blue tint. I HATE the mirrors, have been trying to trade them for stockies. I just think they are too short and stubby. Just IMO

Try posting in the appearance and cosmetics forum as this is a perfect candidate for that forum. You'll get more responses there.

imho, both mirrors suck. i have them, and was running them mainly for weight savings. i took them off because they are useless.

I have spoon style mirrors. The adjustment sucks so once you get them right, never let anyone touch them. The pass side has good visibility as long as you install the glass correctly. But after I installed a racing seat that sat me much lower and somewhat back in the car, I had to break the glass out and get a new one custom cut and reinstalled so that I would have enough adjustment.

I have them and love em. Im not a big cf fan, but love the way the spoon mirrors look, so these were perfect for me.

The mirrors are considerable smaller than stock (obviously) but visibility is not an issue. Paired with a broadway mirror i can see more than i could with stock hardware in place. I have ordered many parts from these guys and have never had any issues whatsoever. from me

And when you hear these people say it sucks, it really does suck. The knock-offs have horrible visability. I heard the originals giving some people problems too. Stick with stock or something; they look great to me but I would like to see out my mirrors
