Stock fuel system will max out ~195 to 215. Most people that add a set of cams/valvetrain tend to upgrade due to higher duty cycles in the upper rpm's. So no, completely stock you will come nowhere near 400.

Add a set of 750 injectors, everything else stock and you will get close to 400. With a walbro 255, and 750's, you will max out in the low 400's. If I were you trying to make 400, I would do a walbro and 750's. If your setup is capable of pushing past 400 and you are power hungry add a set of Precision 1000's with the walbro.

After 450 I would look into converting your returnless style fuel system into a return style. This is done by adding a return line, external fuel pressure regulator, etc. and a little modification.

An LSD is not absolutely necessary although I would suggest one. Here is my experience. I have seen low 1.7/1.8 60 ft's with an open diff. not much better with a LSD added. But when driving on the street (my car is properly aligned) on pump gas, my car is uncontrollable. It pulls violently to the side of the road even at only 15PSI WOT. I drove my car on race gas one day before I decided it needed an LSD.

A "decent" clutch for 400HP would be a six puck with a corresponding pressure plate. I personally like Competition Clutch/Clutchmasters for the K series. Whatever you do, don't buy ACT. They are garbage for the k series but that is a whole different story.

But if you are not doing this work yourself, I would suggest adding a LSD while doing the clutch. Otherwise you need to drop the trans twice and that gets expensive.

I Actually own a RSX - S with 400whp. And like somebody else said the walbro 255lph fuel pump and 750cc RC injectors will be perfect. You might want to look in to converting your fuel system from returnless to a return fuel system. The aeromotive regulator and golden eagle fuel rail are perfect additions to your fuel system.

Sorry to say but you will max out those 550's long before 400. I would suggest a minimum of 750's depending on how far past 400 you would like to go.
