How the heck do i my rex hood open without the cable not be able to be pulled? The cable got disconnected from inside and when i tried to pull it from outside under the bumper (which worked before) the whole cable and ball came down in my hand, so now im stuck............. HELP!!

 

thats the hood latch from the top. theres a piece of metal that is in the hole that holds the hood pin as it goes thru it.



thats the bottom of the latch where the cable hooks to it. you need to move the lever with a long screwdriver from under the car towards the point where the cable hooks on.

I removed the bolts holding the hood to the top latch, had to pry up my hood a bit but its ok im goin carbon fiber
