new oil pump needed?

im rebuliding my b18c1 because i spun a bearing. this might be a stupid question, but do you guys think i need to replace my oil pump?

It's easier than taking apart the old one, cleaning, and checking the clearances on it.

it's a good idea since the motor will be apart. have the crank checked for straightness and make sure the journals are still in spec. if not, junk it and buy a new one.
