Default 4x114 to 5x114 conversion thingy any good?

I was wondering if these conversion plates were a good thing to do or is it a waste of money? they also change the offset a little. The wheels I'm planning on are 5 lugs and a 5 lug conversion it's too expensive. I hate 4x114

it's a round piece that looks sort of like a wheel spacer and it bolts onto the 4x114 hub leaving 5 studs where you would install your 5 lug rim on. they sell on ebay or any performace shop.

I was just wondering if anyone have done it here? by the way these plates will affect the offset of the wheel a little meaning the wheel will stick out a little if you don't find something above +50 for a 4th gen. the higher the offset on the wheel the better

seems like the plate would need to be atleast as thick as the lug studs.

my friend had them on his gsr, they worked just fine until he put some real tires(nt555r) on then they started to twist under the stress...he got them from a local speed shop. try finding some that are titanium or carbon steel.

And the good thing about the swap is you have a lot more rims to choose from

i second the knuckle swap...titanium or carbon steel adapters would probably cost more then the swap it self anyways
