ITR/CTR cams seem to work wonders on boosted apps. As for aftermarket valves, I have no personal experience with any so I cannot make a suggestion.

gsr cams do very well for us with b16's and turbos as well. Id say do springs/retainers as well. Make sure the seats are good and hell wile the head is off might as well replace the seals and have it pressure tested to make sure its up to the job and not needing any more work...

i've heard that gsr cams are best to use on boosted aps. why is this? i'm building a crvtec with a b16 head and was wondering what cams to use.

gsr cams or itr/ctr cams are supposedly good as well, but gsr cams are what most people run. if youre going to go aftermarket cams such as crower, skunk or turbo xs- you usually need to upgrade the entire valvetrain.
if youre changing out your valves, you should change out your stock springs and retainers for dual springs and titanium retainers. imho, ferrea and skunk make the best valvetrain. but crower, kms, supertech, toda, jun and there are a couple other companies who make pretty good valvetrains as well.
