yes its reliable. I would definitely ditch the JR FMU and get hondata and a nice solid tune. Most kits just bolted on with the JR FMU get around 250whp. But with a nice header, exhaust and a hondata dyno tune you could get more ponies. Not to mention the 11psi pulley upgrade

8psi is the tops you would want to go with the jsrc cause of huge heat soak problems above that. not to mention they dont make an 11psi upgrade. So you have no idea wtf you are talking about. Most preludes ive seen running this kit make 230 or so to the wheels with a good tune, with the supplied fmu you might make 210 to the wheels or so. stfu and learn.

The JR fmu will get u about 230whp if you have intake, header, exhaust.
I didnt mean to put 250whp on the JRfmu sorry
I'm not a big fan of superchargers. They are prone to way higher IATs and thats not good considering h22 ringlands are already weak. and hot air is gonna increase risk of detonation.

this isnt an argument of how much we can make with a JRSC.
He asked is it reliable and It is.

fall spring air with the windows rolled down with total silence. Then blip blip wahhhh. Something about the sound of JR just keeps me on my toes. And yes I concur with reliability I think it's really something to think about but, any build in a car is not going to be easy not to mention the knuckkle busting bolts but, built right harmony will take place and for sure to a see a big grin in your face
