Default Jackson Racing Tuning Help!!! Dyno Sheet Included

We are in the process of tuing with Hondata a CRX with a B16A swap and jackson racing supercharger, the car is making 8psi it seems about 6900rmps is where the car hits the full 8psi and thats where the power seems to be falling off. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this with the jacksons?

Mods
b16A
Jackson Racing Supercharger (older style)
DC sports Header
Thermal Exhaust 2.5"
High Flow Cat
GSR Cams
580cc Injectors
Walboro 255

agreed ^. at least get the a/f in the mid 11s... even at that though i don't think your gonna see a ton of gains, what does your ignition look like? (total timing)

That things running pig rich!

Smooth that AFR out a bit, it's got Hondata we expect to see flat AF ratios!

AFR's have little to do with how much power it makes.

its all about TIMING.

if you play with the afr's on a steady state dyno from peak performance you can dip it from 12.1 to 9:8 and prob only see a 5-7 WHP difference

you play with the timing you can see anywhere from a 5-20 WHP difference.

on a JRSC i i wodulnt recommend running 12.1 IMO cuz of the hot air and the JRSC's detonation prone design.

its a lil rich, but i think his problems probably lie elsewhere.

IMO the power isnt too bad. jRSC's dont make tons of power to begin with. you might be heat soaking the motor. detonation etcc.

you should be seeing full boost way sooner than 6900rpm. Full boost should almost be instant. NO lag on a roots blower. YOur torque should also plateau and stay strong at like 3k till closer to redline. Check for boost leaks.

This was one of the first pulls, thats why the air fuels are kinda rough but the A/F does not explain why the power falls off so fast it is seeing 8psi at 6900 which is where it falls off. The car has 16 degrees of timing in it as of now and changing is we have not seen any change with the power falling off. I was wondering if there was some flow issue with the older jackson chargers has anyone heard of that, the air intake temps look good its just not adding up.

you should have full boost at full throttle, check your belts and make sure that they are tight.

Are you tuning your car? You should have boost alot sooner then 6900. Thats way late

those number look like 6psi

advance timing +2 degrees. then start out at 11.5-12 flat AFR play with it in increments to see any impovement. engage vtec at 4-4500 if your still using it.
only major problem is them big 580cc not tuned in properly too rich, check/change plugs and swap header for kamikaze or custom.
if your still not making more power up top and not getting a smooth hp/tq reading something is definately wrong. check fittings, vacuum.

then you need newre style jrsc or
http://www.lhtperformance.net/products.html or

definately

his stock 240cc can handle atleast 10psi tops, prelude 310cc would be perfect for 12-15psi, dsm 450s would be for 15+psi. really you could use any of these on his setup but then you have to tune them down properly

he has 255lph pump, 580s and only 8psi. he could definately advance the timing for more power and top. just make sure the blower doesnt heatsoak or cause detonation.
