Default Engine Leaking Oil

Just got off the phone with my dad to see how the family is doing. He told me that there is oil leaking down the front of the engine. He has replaced the cam seal and vtec solinoid last month. The only thing that i can think could be the problem is head gasket is wore and needs replaces. Any other possiblitys what it could be

there's alot of things it could be. try to get a look at it yourself and figure it out. oil leaks arent that hard to figure out.

when oil leacks in front passanger side of the motor right above the motor stamping b18c or b16 what ever doesnt mean its from the head gasgket it can b a cam seal or dizzy seal or vtec soloniod is not tightened correct or the dizzy is not tightneded really hard for the head gasket to leack unless u over heated it to hell !

Don't speculate about where the oil is leaking from. The easiest thing you can do is go to your local auto parts store and buy the oil dye. Put the stuff into the oil filler and let the car run so the dye can properly circulate.

When it's finally dark outside, turn the car on and let it run up to operating tempurature. After this, use a portable shop light and search around the engine bay. The dye will react with the light and glow green or red or purple...pending on what color you bought.

Very helpful and easy to use.

well the motor does have 108k on it and when my dad got it off hte trailor. we had to have the exhaust manifold bolts machince out because they were rusted on. I think the engine was poorly treated by the last owner. Im going to have all the gaskets replaced along wiht cam seal and vtec sol. If it continues to leak. Going to have to do some investigating
