Best Price/Place to buy a CF Fiber Images SIR style hood?
Eric, I think that the closest dealer is Ultima Performance on Long Island. They have a listing of dealers on the website.
I'm probably going to order one next month from them. Some places will take orders over the phone, but if it'll help you, I could always pick up one for you when I get mine and meet you in PA at some point (parents still live in Doylestown). Might save you a little shipping, but might not. I'd say the best way to get prices is to start calling places listed on their website. Oh, and let me know if you find one that's cheaper than what Ultima would charge.

Hey Tommy what is Ultima asking for there CF hoods? I have 3 sources online that are pretty legit but havent gotten any prices yet. I might be interested in this ultima place you are talking about. I can give you some bucks to pick it up.
Jason, Fiberimages doesnt make a ZC CF hood and I want to get a fiberimages since I have seen the quality in person. I also dig the USDM Sir version

Eric, just talked to Ultima. Price was $525 (an additional $125 if you want color, but don't know if they'd have orangey-rust
). Unfortunately, I forgot to ask if that was for normal or SiR-type. I'd assume that was for normal; SiR seems to run a little more, if memory serves.
He did say that they're backordered, at least the CRX ones are. Does the h/b use the same hood?
If carbonfiberhood gives a better price, let me know, okelily dokily? (best Ned Flanders impression)

Tommy, MugenEF7's source wants 725 shipped to my door. To much in my book but thanks for the help mugenef7. I would like to pay about 500, I will keep you up to date Tommy, I might take you up on your offer
Eric, that does sound high. Especially when I fully expected anyone else out there to beat the price of a NYC-area shop. I'm pretty surprised, to tell you the truth.
Thanks for looking into it, and get back to me if you get more serious about putting in an order (that'll push me into getting mine as well).
