high compression
i have setup b20vtec with stock sleeves and the 84.5mm and copression 11.5 and my head fullybuilt and want to run higher compression ,more than 13.1 compression and i have a dtr header i just bought and my old setup i ran 12.00 at 111 mph and want to go faster and just for the track .my goal to hit mid 11's or low 11's
Have you tried FULLY optimizing the setup you have now? I mean, getting the best fueling, ignition timing, and cam timing? Tried every combination on the dyno/and or the track? On 99% of "tuned" motors, there are always a couple horses to be picked up by fully optimizing the motor for EXACTLY what you plan to do with it.
It takes alot of time, and alot of different combos to find couple that work well.

a bump in compression will indeed make more power. Will your stock cylinder walls handle it without cracking? Thats the question. BearsEK seems to get away with 14:1 but others have seen problems with compression much lower than that.
