CFK Sensor/ Crank Angle needed on OBD2 B16a2?
Is CFK Sensor/ Crank Angle needed on OBD2 B16a2 engine? Will the car be able to start up without it?I have searched everywhere but nobody knows for sure from what i have read... Thanks!!!
depends on if you are using the OBD2 ECU. If you use the OBD1 ECU it won't look for it, if you are using OBD2 and don't have it heres how to bypass it:

Ok. Cool. I was wondering because my newly rebuilt engine wont start and everything is hooked up except that.. What does this sensor look for anyways? Thanks!
The CFK is only used to determine if your engine's mis-firing. The CYP/TDC and CKP in the dizzy are required for the engine to run.,.
