Default Best exhaust

Im after a better exhaust to replace my crush bent 2.25 sytem on my EJ1 civic with a B18CR motor

Im looking at buddy club systems that give good ground clearance so the spec II is out of the question

so how do these systems sound and what is good performance and sound out of these

Spec III
Spec III PRO (leaning towards this)
Spec IV (quite one out of them, im keen but worried about HP vs the other two)

also how does the skunk2 system sound?
What would be your overall recommendation, andy pictures of your system and any sound or vid clips would be good.

I really don't think the spec II gives up ground clearence. If it did alot of race teams wouldn't use it.

If you go to youtube you can type in each of the exhausts and there will be exhaust clips listed, that's the best way to go if you're looking for sound clips.

of course it gives up ground clearance its a straight under LCA/tank exhaust

race teams use it because there aren't speed bumps and driveways on racetracks.

anyways post comments that help me please

Yeah, you're right in a sense that you're really comparing apples to oranges when you're talking about a smooth, nice, race track versus a street or parking lot with pot holes and speed bumps.

On the other hand...what the hell is this going on? If it's going on a Y7 or Y8 I wouldn't recommend any of 'em.

Engine/Mods?

Is going on a EJ1 civic with a B18C R motor.

I just want something 2.5" that gives good power and a nice deep sound, not rattly like some buddy clubs i have heard on the net. (but they all had wussy sohc motors)
