My car did not start today, I did not leave the lights on either.

When I tried to turn the ignition, some dim lights when off. When I open the door the cabin light is still on.

I got the car jumped and it started fine.

Is my battery died or is my alternator shot? How do you tell?

Will my car start tomorrow morning?

 

battery....you can take it to the autoparts place and they will test it, but if it jumps fine and dies like that, its most likely the battery. If you can disconnect the battery and it still runs, that means the alternator is good and it must be the batt.
