Default Interior lights malfunction

When opening the drivers side door of my '03 Accord LX, the door and overhead
light's will not illuminate. The fuses and bulb's all check out. Opening the passenger
side door works as expected, both the overhead and door light will turn on.
The rest of the interior lights also work as expected. Any suggestions to a possible
cause/solution would be most welcome. Thanks.

Tim

my guess is the sensor on your driver door is the one at fault (the one that senses if it's open/closed)

If your car has the 'slider' switch on the door post; you might remove it[phillips screw] and try cleaning up the contact point with your wifes fingernail emery board.
