high flow cat? bad or good with boost

Default high flow cat? bad or good with boost

Iplan on boosting my civic in the spring. is a high flow cat going to screw things up or make things better? Also, if i do buy a high flow cat whats it going to do for me for the time being until i do get boost.

Well if you gotta have a cat to pass on the spot visual inspections or something, then a high flow will get the job done, and probably keep the tailpipe emissions clean enough to pass.
If you're somewhere that it doesnt matter... then bag the cat all together.
Whatever you do, don't tune to run pig rich or drive it untuned while running pig rich, because all that will do is fuse the catalyst cells and make it useless.

I ran a magna flow hi flow without boost for less then 500 miles. All it did was quiet the car down
