the k24 is not a 2.2L its a 2.4
its not just bored out, its got a completly differnt crank, different rods, pistons, etc etc, rod length is different, its a pretty different motor but still alot alike

How does that help with his question? LOL

k24 is 99x87
k20 is 86x86

In other words, no, its not a 2.2 bored to a 2.4.

The k24 has a much longer stroke.

So, it could be said that a K24 is a stroked K20... except that it's also taller, and not just gaining stroke via the crank.

One of the build options for a K24 block is to "de-stroke" it (using an F20C crank, I believe) to raise the safe rev limit in terms of piston speeds.

It's 2.4L. Honda uses a certain naming convention for a reason - the H22 is 2.2L; the H23 is 2.3L; the B18 is 1.8L, and so on.

Its actually ~ 2.35 but Honda likes to round things off more than I do.

You can actually use either the F20C at 84mm or the F22C at 90.7mm. The F20C in a K24 block would make for a really crazy short stroke/long rod combonation, and IIRC would net you about 1.8L where the F22C would net you about 2.15L on a stock bore.

I'll help you out on this. It's 2.4L.
