Does anyone know a link to air filters for an itb setup, I'm not looking for a big air box but rather little like stockings to cover the velocity stacks. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 

Ask around in the all-motor forum.

Some people put wire mesh over them and then panyhose. Tie the whole thing down with a worm clamp or metal zip tie.

Like this:

Pantyhose|Wire mesh|ITB opening.

the wire mesh stops the ITB from sucking in the pany hose.

I wouldn't use it for DD though...

I bought 4 motorcycle air filters and plan on somehow attaching it to the velocity stacks of my itb's...unfortunately mine were made of carbon fiber and they'll get crushed when I tighten the clamps...if you have the aluminum or metal ones, I'm sure it'll work. Anyway, I bought the airbox that twm sells instead and made it work with my cold air intake tube...Will post pics soon..

Only drawback, felt slight loss in power. For a sec there I thought my vtec wasn't working because not only did I not hear it engage, somehow the pull was weak.
